—I Am Sorry
“I AM SORRY” (demo) it’s been out and about trying to find your ears.
OUT WITH THE OLD AND IN WITH THE NEW! Nick and Justin left the band, but no hard feelings… It took ONE day to find a new drummer and we also picked up a piano/keyboard player! So welcome to The Envy Ferondo Moore (drums) and Cannon Outlaw (keys)!!
A “Real” gig, halfway.
August 11th we play at Live on Grace, in Wilmington at the Songwriter’s Showcase from 7:30-10:30 PM. The showcase is for new and upcoming artists and there are other bands besides ourself (half of our band, this particular event doesn’t allow drums unless its somekinda bongo drums that starts with a “D”) So come out and support us! Hopefully the next one we can get Nick into the show.
I’m told it’s my Birthday…
SO—It’s your 18th birthday. You had plans. No one can hang out anymore. WHAT DO YOU DO????…..EXACTLY!—Buy a new Franz Ferdinand cd at Walmart and cruise around Southport listening to it! BTW some people at Walmart are weirdos like these two!! I didn’t see them but someone in a Walmart did!!! (Which one is the out of place one?? The “business up front party in the back” guy or the “RVD—half buzzed/half hair— rattail” fellow??) -Brent
We are thinking about another album
If Garrett would get back to me about it, well I think I told him at least. I might not have, which would be my fault… Anyways, we have 7 possible songs right now but one has no guitar or drums, and two have no drums. We usually try for ten, and if the next three sound as good as these seven, It’s gonna be a great album! -Brent
“This song I wrote for my grandparents, but they are not here, because I didn’t invite them.”
Download both our albums, Brunswick Town-Live! & …A Heartful of Love, on Bandcamp for free!!! Get the album covers too!
A Day in the Life of an Unemployed Teenager…
So I head back from wilmington toward St. James. I am then told to go get an application at Shallotte unemployment office AKA “The DMV for JOBS.” Waiting. Waiting. Writing. Waiting. Name called. Get my paper I need, then back to St. James. Fill it out, BOOM! —it’s done. Time for play, I head over to PCJ and talk to Karl, about to leave and I am told that someone is hiring across the street by someone in the coffee shop, her name is Abby. Frogger my way across the road, get application, and frogger my way back. Fill it out, BOOM—it’s done! Leaving again, and who should I see, but the cool cat Karl, with his WallMart shades. Go get some thrift store clothes, and in the process loose my dollar! I still don’t know where it is!! I am then invited to lunch, whilst on my way to my car where I learn “End of Days” FINALLY! From there, antiquing. Meet Karl’s friend Becca and return to antiquing. Phone call from my dad and I have to be home at 3. Haven’t eaten yet—and while I type this I remember that, and I’m really hungry!!— go to some Thai restaurant. Free water. Abby meets us for lunch. Alarm rings and I have to run, literally! I book it so fast that I forget that I just took my cup from the restaurant! Now I am home. And I have basketball later tonight, and i’m gonna rock my brand new Lil’ Trojans jersey! thanks for spotting me with that $0.57 Karl. I’m not completely cheap, I gave him my cd fo free. -Brent

Prepare for Impact!
How cool would it be that teachers at your school somehow saw your band on the internet and they knew it was you? My answer is SPECTACULAR!
